I'f I haven't mentioned this to anyone before (which I probably haven't), I'm a Junior in high school. And as a student OF my high school, I had an option to host a German exchange student for three weeks this fall if I wanted to. And I did. So today, we (Me + a bunch of other hostee-s) are picking up all the exchange students from the airport.

UPSIDE: I'll have German friend to hang out with for the next three weeks. And she sounded cool.

DOWNSIDE: my mom's really sick with food poisoning right now, so I'll have to be in charge of everything +1 until she gets better

UPSIDE: I have a reason to hang out with all the people I wouldn't normally hang out with. - New friends! >_<

DOWNSIDE: As a result of my mom beign sick, my grandman's staying with us. Which means two vistors in our house. Which means I sleep in the basement now.

UPSIDE: The basement has a bathroom all it's own.

DOWNSIDE: I might turn geeky Otaku on everyone...and scare them away

UPSIDE: Someday this expereince will spur me on to completing my ultimate dream - WORLD DOMINATION! *insert evil cackle here*

PS - I also am hitching a ride to the airport from two guys. And Travis put a fake hickey on my neck. --- "Mom, this isn't what it looks like..."
